Touch Sensitive MP 4 Players from Unidym

During the recent 75th China Electronics Fair, Unidym showcased its touch sensitive MP-4 players that are enabled by transparent conductive films.

Unidym has partnered with various customers to prove that its transparent conductive films are sturdier as compared to the customary indium tin oxide-based transparent conductive films. These films can be manufactured at significantly reduced costs as compared to the vacuum deposited ITO films, since it is possible to print the films using a roll-to-roll manufacturing process that is solution based.

Unidym’s CEO and President, Mark Tilley, informed that more number of touch panels are manufactured in China than any other place in the world. Tilley added that China is among the largest markets for Unidym’s transparent conductive films. Tilley claimed that the exhibition of his company’s technology at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, during April 9-11, 2010, highlights the emergence of a more forceful initiative to market Unidym’s films in China.
