CAS, Delphin Announce Plug and Play Data Acquisition System

CAS DataLoggers and Delphin Technologies have joined to announce a new high-speed data acquisition system, the Delphin Expert Key 200L. The system designed specifically for applications in experiments and laboratories can be used for measurement of process automation, visualization of processes and for testing and trial of stand automation.

Delphin Expert Key 200L Data Acquisition System

The Expert Key 200L data acquisition system is a portable unit that has a built-in hardware and software package. It has two universal digital inputs that can be used for getting frequencies, impulses or status. The system has 28 universal analog inputs that can be connected to mV, volt, and 20 mA signals, RTD sensors, and thermocouples for getting physical values including pressure, flow-rate and temperature.

The digital output, two analog outputs and all inputs are universal. For protection against earth loops they are galvanically-isolated. The actuators and sensors are connected to the system through plugs. For providing secure connections the system has plug-in screw terminals. The system has a maximum sample rate of 100 kHz. The signal conditioning is included in the system and for existing RTD sensor types and thermocouples, the scaling is pre-configured. The measured data is first saved and then scaled and linearized.

Events can be initiated and experiments controlled through PWM, digital, and analog outputs. The configuration is simple and can be quickly set up by connecting through Ethernet or USB to computers. The product also includes ProfiSignal Go professional PC software for monitoring and analyzing data. The free software can also interface with other applications, such as Diadem and LabView and can exchange data with systems that use Modbus TCP or an OPC server. The Expert Key 200L also includes an OCX interface. The device can be mounted on walls or on tabletops.
