Heart Rate Watch Company declared the commercial availability of the new Polar RCX3 heart rate monitor. Polar RCX3 GPS and RCX3 Run watch in men’s and women's versions are being offered. The RCX3 bike and regular versions will be available by this summer end.
Training benefit feature representing the primary benefit of training during current session has been included in the Polar RCX3. In addition, the watch includes a training effect that observes cumulative training load over a range of sessions to balance the training so as to eliminate under or over training.
The Polar RCX3 GPS is available in women's version in white and men's version in black. Polar G5 GPS sensor has been incorporated in both watches. The sensor resembles the size of a cell phone battery and the latest GPS clip is utilized within the Polar RCX5 Tour de France models.
The Polar RCX3 GPS model is being offered along with a Polar Datalink download stick that enables transfer of workout data to Polar Personal Trainer software. The kit consists of a Polar WIND Wearlink chest strap for avoiding magnetic interference. The G5 GPS unit also consists of a micro-USB to USB connection that enables download of GPS data to mapping software.
Available in black version for men and white for women, the Polar RCX3 Run is a versatile kit, where the run bundle based on the Polar S3-Plus stride sensor can sense the speed, distance and examine the stride data to enhance running efficiency.
Heart Rate Watch Company testers consider the Polar RCX3 Run to be an ideal solution to rolling to flat courses as well as to road racing.
The availability of other Polar RCX3 models is scheduled in 2012 summer.
