Precise Biometrics Receives First Tactivo Order from European-Based Car Manufacturer

Precise Biometrics, a producer of Tactivo, a smart casing that offers smart card and fingerprint authentication to mobile devices and also a provider of authentication solutions, has received its first Tactivo order from a European-based car manufacturing company.

The smartcards has been already used by the European auto manufacturer for desktop logical access. The acquisition of Tactivo allows the company to lift its credentials and also to extend secure solution in order to result in transition from desktop to mobile devices. Many applications have been developed by the car manufacturer to encrypt the documents, which can be safely stored in these devices. The Tactivo can be also used for messaging and browsing purposes. The company expects this customer to have Tactivo be deployed by Q3 2012.
