3eTI Exhibits First Military-Grade Wireless Mesh Network Solution at ISA Automation Week

3e Technologies International (3eTI) has introduced its new AirGuard iMesh suite of products. A low-power ISA 100 node, iMesh Sensor Node and an ISA100 to IEEE 802.11 device called iMesh Gateway integrate to facilitate wireless process automation featuring military-grade levels of security, which results in a robust solution for wireless networks in industrial scenarios. New cyber threats are targeted at hazardous and disrupting industrial control systems.

iMesh is the low-power, ISA100-compliant solution that supports industrial sensor networking. It is the first independently validated solution, and its security has been proven and adopted by the U.S. military. The iMesh solution surpasses the basic security potential of ISASecure enabling comprehensive encryption and authentication technology for obtaining integrity, reliability and availability of sensor and network data. Cyber-secure bridge linking sensors with ISA100, Wi-Fi and Ethernet networks resulting from the device ensure superior strength and security.

Furthermore, 3eTI will provide iMesh encryption software and modular components for OEM applications, through which manufacturers can easily implant certified security within new or existing products. ISA100 wireless mesh technology is now available for integrating on vendor’s sensor systems, thereby catering to the demand for certified wireless capabilities in government applications. This serves as an opportunity for partners who wish to incorporate 3eTI’s core technology.

With evaluation models now being offered, the AirGuard iMesh line of products will be in full production by February 2013.

3eTI showcases its AirGuard iMesh devices during ISA Automation Week, from September 24 to 27 in Orlando, Florida.
