BeanAir, a French company specializing in WSN (Wireless Sensor Network), and committed to monitoring industrial machinery, has developed a new wireless sensor, Bean Device SUN T-IR supported by Zigbee/IEEE 802.15.4 and GSM/GPRS wireless protocol.
This sensor can gauge temperatures using Infrared technology and can be used in varied applications such as Solar Panel monitoring, Electrical system and devices, Food and Pharmaceutical Industry, Automotive Diagnostic Processes, Railways, Metallurgy, Engine Temperature Control and Technical Building Management. The Bean device can be used by its plug and play installation and is controlled remotely. It consumes minimal power, and is a highly precise system, with accuracy levels ranging from ±0.5°C, over temperatures ranging between 0 and 50°C. It is extremely cost effective and also has a broad temperature measurement range [-70°C to 380°C].
