New Cherry Sensors from ZF for Garage-Door Operators

ZF offers a series of sensors and switches under the Cherry brand. These switches and sensors comply with UL standards. The Cherry miniature D4 switches are used as limit switches in garage-door operators to minimize and maximize door travel.

The D4 snap switches have high contact stability. The highly reliable switches can operate over temperature between -40°C and 150°C. The switches are offered with different mounting points and auxiliary actuators. These switches meet the IEC603351 requirements, and are UL1054 and EN61058 approved.

GS1001-1004 Geartooth Sensor

Cherry's GP series switch has a mechanical life that has been tested to one million cycles. The GP series switches are available in a range of actuator styles, offering current switching to 20A.

The Cherry geartooth speed sensors from the GS1012/ GS1002 and GS1001 series are ideal for garage-door operators, suiting their OEM requirements. These sensor models have the ability to sense the ferrous geartooth targets' movement accurately to near-zero speed.

The circuit-protected GS1001-1002 Hall-effect geartooth speed sensors are provided with stainless-steel housing that is adjustable. The GS1012 sensors series from the Cherry brand are flange-mount sensors. These geartooth speed sensors are resistant to lubricants, solvents, and fuels; and are ideal for commercial doors in automotive engineering workshops and other such rough commercial surroundings.
