Sanomedics Reports Increase in Demand for Caregiver TouchFree Clinical Thermometers

Sanomedics International Holdings, Inc., announced today that demand is soaring for its Caregiver® TouchFree™ Clinical Thermometers, primed by the growing concern for spread of EBOLA and MERS infections. The Company is gearing up for heavy inventory requirements to support this global effort at all healthcare facilities and ports-of-entry.

Keith Houlihan, President of Sanomedics, noted that multiple shipments have been made in recent days to the Centers for Disease Control ("CDC") in Atlanta as well as to other enterprise customers for use in corporate healthcare centers. He went on to indicate that the Company will focus on assisting all segments of the CDC, National Institutes of Health, Department of Homeland Security, and general healthcare facility efforts to reduce the risk of contact/spread of these diseases.

Thermomedics' Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Ron Benincasa, explained that the Caregiver reads only naturally emitted infrared radiation from the subject's body and does NOT employ any "laser" energy as has recently been noted in reports about other, non-clinical grade devices. It is completely safe and clinically proven to be accurate for all ages.
