Thermal Imaging Cameras for Industrial Temperature Monitoring

The TIM thermal imaging cameras available from Micro-Epsilon have been specifically developed to enable non-contact measurement of surface temperatures ranging from –20 °C to 2000 °C. The infrared cameras allow efficient monitoring and regulation of temperature-critical processes with low temperatures (for example, in cooling chains) and also with extremely high temperatures (for example, in metal and glass processing). Due to their high thermal sensitivity, infrared cameras are perfect for accurate and dynamic operations.

Different performance classes make it possible to select an appropriate model for each application. The thermal imaging camera is connected through a USB interface, which also provides the required power.

Characteristics

  • Long-life operation due to non-contact and wear-free measurement
  • Ideal for OEM applications
  • Real-time thermography with license-free software
  • Compact design including USB port / optional Gigabit Ethernet

thermoIMAGER TIM — Compact USB Thermal Imaging Cameras for Precise Thermography

The use of thermal imaging cameras for non-contact measurements of temperature distribution allow efficient monitoring and control of temperature-critical processes in many different fields of application.

The thermoIMAGER infrared cameras are well known for stationary thermography, offering an exceptional price/performance ratio. The infrared imaging cameras are linked to a computer through USB 2.0 and can be used readily. TIMConnect is a license-free software that views and records the identified temperature data as thermal images. The software also offers set up and configuration and helps control the infrared cameras.

Fast Temperature Measurement Even on Large Surfaces

Thanks to this innovative non-contact technology, measurement objects can be detected in an accurate and wear-free manner. It is possible to measure large surfaces at millisecond intervals. In order to continuously track the process, the thermal imaging camera can be operated in the line monitoring mode.

Compact Design for Mobile and Stationary Use

The thermoIMAGER cameras bridge the gap that previously existed between portable infrared snapshot cameras and devices for stationary applications. Exemplary fields of applications are as follows:

  • Mobile measurement tasks
  • Research and development
  • Test stations
  • Process automation

Large Temperature Measuring Range

Micro-Epsilon’s thermal imaging cameras can be used across a broad measuring range, from low temperatures prevalent in laboratories or cooling chains to maximum temperatures in metal processing applications.
