Pressure Transducers from Keller UK

The pressure transducers are suitable for floating O-ring seal mounting. They consist of a calibration sheet for indicating linearity, sensitivity, zero offset, compensation resistors, and temperature errors so that the zero offset and zero temperature errors can be reduced.

A glass-metal feed-through header is mounted with a piezoresistive silicon chip present in each transducer. The metal feed-through header is filled with silicone oil, and welded into stainless steel housing. A front part of each transducer is provided with a very thin laser welded stainless steel isolation diaphragm.

Media pressure is transferred from this diaphragm to the silicon measuring chip. The transducers use the laser welded technology, and have diameters of about 9.5 mm. The smaller the diameter, the higher the internal pressure and the more difficult is the zero compensation.

Options

The options available for the pressure transducers are:

  • Compensation PCB fitted
  • Integrated temperature sensor
  • Special tests
  • Oil for low temperatures.
