Daylight Solutions’ Tunable Pulsed Lasers for Hyperspectral Imaging

Daylight Solutions has recently launched the Über Tuner series of ECqcL, a new range of pulse lasers that are broadly tunable.

This ECqcL series enables continuous tuning up to 1.6 µm or 250 cm-1 in one laser head. The ECqcL series provides 6.2–12.2 µm coverage without gaps. The earlier series from Daylight Solutions, a top-ranking producer of enhanced illumination and molecular detection solutions and spectroscopic laser sources, was able to guarantee 75 cm-1 tuning ranges only. The Über Tuner has emerged as a new standard in the mid-IR tunable range of pulsed lasers commercially available.

Recent enhancements in the widely tunable QC gain media and the patented ECqcL technology are combined with the state-of-the-art Über Tuner cavity resulting in the most accurate tuning over the currently existing broadest wavelength range.

The Über Tuner laser series will serve Daylight’s customers in the stand-off detection, customary solid- and liquid-state spectroscopies, near-field microscopy, and hyperspectral imaging industries, according to the Daylight Solutions’ CTO/CEO Dr. Timothy Day.
