Identec Solutions is unveiling its SensorSMART system. The company has incorporated positive features from three technologies into one single platform to address specific customer requirements.
The solution is a scalable wireless network suitable for asset control, process automation and workforce security in the oil, gas, mining and tunneling military, marine, and inter-modal and logistics applications. It deploys smart sensors for harsh environments in applications such as to track, identify and measure temperature, humidity, motion and light. These features ensure a high quality of data processing and monitoring. The company will develop more sensors through i-APP, which is a web-based software provided by the company’s technology partner Insync that will facilitate quick customized design and incorporation.
The company will showcase the solution at the CeBIT 2011, in an endeavor to demonstrate the range of applications. The event will be held at the Hyatt North America Bar. Also being showcased at the same event will be the Beverage Metrics Drink that Thinks application that was built with Identec’s SensorSMART system and i-APP software. The Drink that Thinks system will allow for better control of inventory in an endeavor to remove loss with the help of quick reporting and alarms.
