Digi-Key Adds Stackpole’s Thru-Hole Resistors to its Product Portfolio

Digi-Key, an internet-based distributor of electronic components, has declared the inclusion of RNV anti-moisture, high voltage, thru-hole resistors of Stackpole Electronics to its existing portfolio of electronic devices, in its global website, available for purchase.

RNV line of thru-hole resistors of Stackpole provides excellent ability to handle high voltage surge of up to 7 KV for about 50 surges per IEC 60065.14.1. Apart from this, the RNV is capable of sustaining rough environmental conditions with considerable humidity with no considerable resistance shift. This strong, metal film resistor can withstand continuous exposure to increased temperatures, for example, during the potting process that involves high temperature without any serious effects on the long-term consistency or the stability of the device. The RNV is presently available in a size of about ¼ W with maximum overload voltage of about 3200 VDC and maximum of about 1600 VDC working voltage.

The RNV line of resistors is commonly used for displays, TVs, and video monitors. Also, this component is suitable for a varied range of AC adaptors, power inverters, control and power supply applications, electronic ballasts for industrial and commercial lighting, and medical equipment. Being an integrated Internet-based distributor, Digi-Key makes it possible for customers to access inventory and data of several million products throughout the world by shipping all the products from its North American branch. Its integrated business strategy offers online support and product data to help procurement experts and engineers in solving difficult challenges related to product manufacture.

Digi-Key’s online resources and offerings include a reference design library, a mobile and social center, TechXchange, PurchasingPro for electronics buyers, Digi-Key toolbar, Geek Moment videos, TechZone technology zones, PTM Online, On Demand product training modules and an interactive online catalog.
