The SmartBob-TS1 is a “bob” style, recent, continuous level sensor advancement for tanks, bins and silos with an enclosed electronics compartment so that it can be used in high-dust environments.

The SmartBob-TS1 provides various communication choices such as ZigBee compatibility, optional built-in 900 MHz wireless modem, RS-485 communications, and a 4-20 mA output to a programmable logic controller(PLC) or Human Machine Interface(HMI). This continuous assessment and inventory observation sensor has been developed to avoid dust entering into the sensor’s electronics cavity thereby securing the critical components and increasing reliability. It is also precise and dependable when the sensor is employed to identify minute particles in dusty bins, silos and tanks and has been applied widely in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical processing industries. By adopting a sphere float bob, this technology can also be utilized for diverse slurry and liquid applications too.
The measurements obtained can be transferred to the control console or an ebob PC Software where analysis is made as distance to product, percent full and height of product. Being a subsidiary of the Company’s advancing technology’s inventory management system, the SmartBob-TS1 in accordance with eBob software, supports evaluation and observation bins from a PC and the C-100 control console with TS1 facilitating installation and reduced wiring costs for further operations.
