Magellan to Introduce New RoadMate GPS Devices for Driver Safety

Magellan recently reported new innovative-featured Magellan RoadMate vehicle navigation devices. With 'Portrait Mode' viewing, Bluetooth 'Safe Texting,' and Magellan Wireless Back-up Camera compatibility, these devices have been designed to promote driver safety and convenience.

Bluetooth 'Safe Texting' has been incorporated within Magellan RoadMate 5265T-LMB GPS and RoadMate RM2255T-LMB models, through which the drivers can safely respond to a call instantly with a pre-written text message.

The compatibility features of Magellan’s Wireless Back-up Camera has been improved as safety series for the Magellan RoadMate 5255T-LM and RoadMate 5265T-LMB GPS models.

Under vehicle’s reverse-mode, the RoadMate device will automatically turn from navigation mode to a rear-view monitor through which the driver can have a clear view of the objects at rear-end.

'Portrait Mode' viewing has been incorporated with all five of the newest Magellan RoadMate GPS models. This exceptional feature provides the driver with a viewing option based on navigation details in portrait or landscape viewing mode.

The entire Magellan RoadMate GPS devices incorporate newest Magellan's 2012 features like "Junction View" that displays images of the highway and road signs, realistically; BestParking.com enables drivers to instantly locate parking garages; PhantomALERT –driven 'Traffic Camera Alerts,’ intimate drivers on speed cameras en-route and upcoming red light; 'Landmark Guidance' ensures easy navigation; 'OneTouch,' allows the driver to assign and bookmark a button for reaching the destinations or searching for rapid access.

RoadMate 2255T-LMB measuring 4.3 in with Bluetooth Safe Texting and Portrait Mode; the 4.3 in RoadMate 2240T with Portrait Mode; RoadMate 5265T-LMB - 5.0 in has Portrait Mode, Bluetooth Safe Texting, and Wireless Back-Up Camera Compatibility; RoadMate 5240T-LM of 5.0 in with Portrait Mode, and RoadMate 5255T-LM - 5.0 inch with Portrait Mode and Wireless Back-Up Camera Compatibility will be available in September.
