Teledyne RESON Multibeam Sonar Video Contest for Hydrographic Surveyors

Teledyne RESON has added a Jury’s Pick Prize to its Multibeam Sonar Video Contest.

The contest is open to hydrographic surveyors who upload their best Multibeam Sonar video and describe what's seen in the video and how they collected the data. An online poll will determine the top five videos, and a jury will select the overall winner.

The Jury’s Pick Prize will be awarded to the contestant whose video best shows the potential of the SeaBat system in an educational and entertaining way. The winning video will be selected by the jury and is not dependent on online votes. The winner of the prize will receive an iPad Mini (16 GB and WIFI). All participants will receive a portable Teledyne RESON iPhone/iPad charger.

“We hope that adding the prize will encourage more surveyors to participate in the contest,” says Philip Boissevain, Global Marketing Manager at Teledyne RESON. “It also gives all participants an increased chance of winning a prize. We believe that the multibeam sonar videos, which are shown on our website, are educational and inspirational for professional surveyors.”

To enable the largest number of surveyors to take advantage of the contest, Teledyne RESON has extended the entry deadline until August 1, 2013.
