FlexEnable Chief Scientist Honored with 2015 Faraday Medal

FlexEnable, the leader in the development and industrialisation of flexible organic electronics, proudly congratulates its Chief Scientist and board member,Professor Henning Sirringhaus, for receiving the 2015 Faraday medal.

Professor Sirringhaus has been granted the Institute of Physics’ accolade for ‘transforming our knowledge of charge transport phenomena in organic semiconductors as well as our ability to exploit them’. This both recognises Henning as a leading authority in the field of organic semiconductors and signals the importance of this technology in the recent explosion of flexible electronic devices.“I’m very pleased that Henning’s work has been recognised in this way,” said Indro Mukerjee, Chairman of FlexEnable. “This award confirms the value of the technology leadership which Henning has created, and the exciting future for powerful, organic-based flexible electronics that FlexEnable has developed.”

Professor Sirringhaus is also Hitachi Professor of Electron Device Physics, Head of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Group at the Cavendish Lab, Cambridge University.
