Motion Sensor Enhances Record-and-Monitor Software

Smart Technologies has recently released a software program called Record and Supervise that features motion sensors.

The program is able to continuously save unlimited data that is not normally a feature prevailing in hard drives. The recording can also be done without prompting or with face or gesture identification or by being pre-set to do so.

The software enables recording of incidents both before and after the actual event. The captured photographs and data can be retrieved and played back either directly on the central networking computer or on a separate computer using a web interface. The web interface is also available on the monitoring computer.

The MPEG-4 coded video recording can be controlled and operated without using any external components such as keyboards, monitor or a mouse. The software can be operated either with wired or remote connected IP cameras, television boards, capture memory cards, power lines or USB webcams.
