Eyasco has introduced a new, advanced monitoring system called the QuB monitoring system. Eyasco specializes in developing enterprise information management devices and monitoring systems for land, agriculture, and watershed and flood protection purposes.
The QuB is a self-contained monitoring system with built-in communications and data acquisition features. These features ensure that the key resource data can be obtained instantly once the power connection is on.
For monitoring resources and surroundings with specific conditions, better range and data management can be obtained by integrating several QuBs. The QuB has unique features that ensure hassle-free operation, and it easily monitors and collects data from remote places.
The QuB can be operated under both direct and alternative current. Hence, utilizing telemetry and solar power to monitor and collect data from remote locations is made easier. The QuB has been field-tested and is specifically designed to provide value and reliability. The system is portable and can monitor resources in even the most challenging surroundings. A wide range of sensors for monitoring soil water content, solar radiation, temperature, wind speed, ground movement, water level, water quality and flow rates can be incorporated in the QuB.
The QuB provides an efficient power management solution. It can be configured to adopt power on/off mode when there is a need for certain measurement. This prolongs the battery life and helps record key environmental information.
The QuB can be integrated with SCADA systems with present data centers and monitoring programs. The QuB will be displayed at the 2010 California Rural Water Assoc Expo on April 28, 2010.
