Venstar Introduces Super-Thin FlatStat Series Thermostats For Residential HVAC Systems

Venstar, a supplier of thermostat and energy management systems, has introduced a novel FlatStat series residential thermostats having super-thin architectural wall structure that ensures continuous backlit display, programmed for a week and has easy readability.

Steve Dushane, Venstar’s Chief Executive Officer and President, stated that the novel elegant and architecturally thin FlatStat thermostats ensures completely featured modernized thermostat functioning, which is ideally used by house owners who require an unobtrusive and useful thermostat.

The company’s new FlatStat series is available in two models such as T1000FS and T1100FS. Both the models of the FlatStat series include auto-changeover feature to automatically change between heating/cooling modes; Stored programming and set points, which is not lost during power failure, mounting bracket ensuring easy installations in drywall, LED indicator that indicates heating or cooling modes by producing green or red light, one for all 2-stage heat and cool for use with electric/gas, heat pump, hydronic and electric heat systems. The T1100FS model is designed with seven-day programmability and is well-matched with the optional wired or wireless outdoor air temperature sensors such as the ACC0400 and ACC0414RF/REC for wired and wireless air sensing respectively. Another model T1000FS is programmed for only one-day operation. Both the FlatStat models can be compatibly used with an optional security cover. These venstar’s FlatStat series thermostats ensure easy installation and high compatibility with all residential HVAC systems.
