CAS DataLoggers has introduced the Brainchild 6-Channel Paperless Chart Recorder for real-time visualization and streamlining and archival of process data.

Brainchild 6-Channel Paperless Chart Recorder

Paper chart recorders are used by many companies to monitor data, such as temperatures, in their equipment and machinery. Analyzing, evaluating, organizing and archiving this data are difficult. The Brainchild recorder features a 6.4'' LCD display with true VGA Color and 640x480 pixels for real-time viewing of data. It can be used in automotive, chemical, environmental monitoring, food and beverage industries, and laboratory applications. The screen has multiple display formats and a flexible screen configuration.

The recorder can measure current, voltage, RTDs and thermocouples through six isolated analog input channels. It also has six plug and play I/O card slots that can be configured by users. A plug & play I/O card, flash memory data storage that can be removed, Ethernet and digital I/O are other features of the Brainchild paperless chart recorder. The datalogger has an accurate and fast sampling rate that is lower than 200 ms. It can be programmed and set up quickly. The data can be stored on flash memories or on PCs. Warning alarms can also be set up.

The data in this stand-alone solution can be accessed from remote locations through Ethernet or RS serial interfaces. Further, the Brainchild 6-channel paperless chart recorder features expandable modular architecture with portable, bench top and panel mount configurations.
