Airmar's new 300WX WeatherStation® is designed for professionals who work in motion, such as industrial system builders, autonomous vehicle designers, maritime integrators, and agricultural operators who cannot afford ambiguity.
Airmar WeatherStations provide precise wind direction and speed from moving vehicles, in contrast to conventional wind sensors. They provide calculated dynamic true wind speed and direction by continually correcting apparent wind caused by movement using motion sensors, GNSS location, and a stabilized three-axis compass.
The wind data is accurate even while moving, whether it is installed on a sailboat, weather vehicle, autonomous platform, or agricultural sprayer.

The 300WX was designed with modern machinery in mind. It easily integrates into heavy-equipment and agricultural systems with the addition of J1939 and ISOBUS outputs and automatic baud-rate detection. Easy to install, it has been demonstrated to be compatible with a variety of platforms, leading to fewer integration headaches.

A Complete Environmental Picture
The 300WX is a single, small instrument that gives a comprehensive picture of environmental variables, including wind speed and direction, temperature, barometric pressure, relative humidity, heat and wind chill, vessel or vehicle motion, and GNSS location. It measures both the weather outside and the motion of the platform underneath it.
