Linear Accelerometers: Seismic Event Sensors

Models SA-207LN and SA-307LN from Columbia Servo Accelerometers are low-noise, high-sensitivity sensors used in seismic and low-level, low-frequency motion research. The accelerometers are self-contained and generate a high-level, low-impedance signal. In most cases, signal conditioning is unnecessary.

These multi-axis sensors, like the single-axis SA-107LN, provide readings in the low-frequency micro-G region. Apart from the usual DC-coupled zero output, the SA-207LN and SA-307LN Accelerometers also provide an AC-coupled zero output that removes tilt-induced or offset errors while also allowing for significant amplification of the fundamental output.

Note: Exports of accelerometers from the United States are subjected to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) authorization procedures.
