NTM Sensors, a unit of NexTech Materials Ltd, launches an innovative hydrogen sensing device called the SenseH2™, which is advantageous over the prevailing hydrogen monitoring systems.

Sense H2 sensor

The advanced SenseH2™ sensor will be demonstrated at the San Antonio-based Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition, scheduled to be conducted form 19th October to 21st October, 2010.

The large-scale production of this unique device was initialized in September, 2010 and will be marketed globally.

The company has proposed the SenseH2™ sensor to Underwriter Laboratories (UL) for the approval of ATEX Class 1 Zone 2/Div 2 Hazardous area applications, UL standards as well as CE certifications. NTM Sensors is likely to achieve the ATEX, UL and CE standard and gain the approval by November, 2010.
