Merit Sensor's RS Series Pressure Sensor

This video demonstrates the compatibility of Merit Sensor’s RS Series with high-volume, automated production lines, specifically for reflow soldering. The RS Series is packaged and shipped by Merit Sensor in tape and reel, making it easy for pick and place on a printed circuit board (PCB). One design feature to note about the RS Series is the inclusion of two contact pads, or, more appropriately, anchoring pads on the end opposite of the four contact pads used for electrical connection. These anchoring pads provide mechanical stability. Another design feature is the pressure port/stem. This makes the RS Series easy to connect to standard tubing or an O-ring.
