The AirpaxTM SNAPAK® Series integrates the functionality of three different components: a power switch, a fuse, and a fuse holder. To the OEM, this means that only one item has to be mounted instead of three. Less assembly is thus required, inventory is cut in half, and greater panel density is obtainable with less clutter.
As the SNAPAK® is snap-acting, the immediate opening and closing of the contacts is assured.
Its design also eliminates the operator’s “teasing” of the connections and reduces arcing. SNAPAK® circuit guards are UL Recognized as additional protectors as per UL STD. 1077, CSA Certified as supplementary protectors in accordance with CSA STD. C22.2 No. 235, TUV Approved as circuit breakers for equipment as per EN 60934, CCC Approved, and CE Compliant.
Typical applications include office appliances, medical equipment, electronic data processing, business machines, and amusement and vending machines.
