5V A2L Refrigerant Leak Detection Module for OEM HVAC

The Sensata MGD series of refrigerant leak detection sensors provides a compact, embedded module designed to meet strict OEM requirements that can be seamlessly integrated into HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment.

The MGD series is compatible with R32, R454 series, and R455 series refrigerants. It is fitted with cutting-edge speed of sound technology, which ensures high precision, rapid response times, and built-in self-diagnostics.

In addition to dedicated detection choices, this series comprises systems that can detect any two or three refrigerants with the same part number, simplifying inventory and engineering procedures, and an in-built connector for easier installation.

Like all Sensata Resonix® sensors, the MGD series boasts exceptional resistance to overexposure and poisoning, high temperature (operating temperatures up to 105 °C), and humidity resistance. It has a lifespan of over 15 years without the need for calibration – establishing the MGD as the optimal leak detection component for A2L HVAC&R systems.
