IMI launches its novel series, 176 high-thermal pressure sensing devices, for monitoring and calibrating dynamic pressure characteristics and combustion instability in high-temperature conditions in the range of +9860F or +5300C, produced by the prevailing gas turbines. These sensors are also ATEX and CSA certified for use in hazardous areas.
The Series 176 intense-temperature pressure transducers are widely deployed in gas turbine validation with flexibility to 17 pC/psi or 2.5 pC/kPa and possess dynamic range in the order of 20 psi or140 kPa to a static range of 400 psi or 2760 kPa.
By the incorporation of these high-thermal pressure sensing units to the combustor, the gas turbine users can execute significant diagnostics, part fatigue evaluation and can constantly measure and regulate the emission processes. The operators can save time required for combustion overhauls and evaluations encountered with the elimination of purging and tubing systems. The intensive frequency of these unique sensors allows self-tuning and web-based diagnostic measurement systems. This Series 176 supplies an output that can be simply coupled to legacy combustion dynamics evaluation systems.
