Pressure, Temperature Sensor for Harsh Environments

Variohm EuroSensor has introduced a combined pressure and temperature sensor to its range of EPT pressure transducers.

The EPTT5100 features IP66 sealing and a touch stainless steel encasing of 316 grade steel for optimum hardiness on wetted components. It deploys a high level ASIC output circuit and a thin-film pressure measuring cell that has no silicon or oil and does not have any internal O-rings for dependable operation. The device is also available in a 0-1000 Bar range.

The device is user friendly and space efficient. It is suitable to measure gas or liquid pressures and temperatures in harsh conditions from -40 to +150°C. It offers a precision exceeding ±0.8% and linearity below 1%. It is shock and vibration resistant. It offers a long life exceeding 10 million pressure cycles, reducing maintenance and overall costs.

Its diameter is 22mm in size. It offers a choice of many pressure ports. It features a single power supply voltage from 10 to 30VDC. It has a pressure output range of 0.5VDC. It operates at 0.25 to 4.75VDC. A M12 Connector is also available.

The device is suitable for use in volatile environments such as industry and motor sports including construction and agricultural machinery, HVAC, hydraulic equipment and refrigeration. It provides pressure ranges between 0 to 0.25 to 0.4000 Bar.
