NSG Precision Cells Unveils WAV-7 Wavelength Calibration Filter

NSG Precision Cells, a manufacturer of microfluidic chips, cells, cuvettes and accessories including UV Vis spectrophotometers, absorbance cuvette, spectrophotometers cuvettes, disposable cuvettes, fluorometer cuvettes and micro cuvettes, has announced the availability of the WAV-7 Wavelength Calibration & Photometric Accuracy Filter.

WAV-7 Wavelength Calibration Filter

The robust wavelength calibration filter has been developed to calibrate the wavelength of spectral instruments such as spectrophotometers. The NIST-compatible filter is an easy-to-use, easy-to-clean instrument that does not require any recalibration. The filter can be customized as per laboratory requirements and has a long lifespan.

The wavelength calibration filter offers high reflectance and a high degree of thermal stability. The filter has been developed for calibration of wavelength accuracy in visible (VIS) and ultra-violet (UV) range. The non-degradable filter does not require recalibration and does not need replacement units. The WAV-7 Wavelength Calibration & Photometric Accuracy Filter offers an extensive absorption spectral data and can calibrate moderate wavelength to high resolution. Available for peak absorbance wavelengths, the calibration information is comparative to highest degree of absorbance and can offer consistent standards and high resolvable peaks.

The wavelength calibration filter is ideal for reflectance spectrophotometer system arrays and can be used with all spectrophotometer models. The spectrophotometer calibration filter can be used in the testing of photometric calibration at five specific wavelengths - 340, 320, 300, 280 and 270 nm. The WAV-7 filter offers five calibration points and has certifications of NIST and NRC-Canada.
