Achieving High Accuracy with the Turbine Flow Meter Stainless Steel Flange Mount

The OMEGA® FTB700-S Series turbine meters have an exceptional system of precisely-machined helical rotors and superior quality jewel bearings. The only moving part is the rotor. Tiny magnets on the rotor hub are electronically sensed by a solid state Hall-effect sensor outside the wetted area. The turbine rotor employs journal-type ruby and sapphire bearings for maximum life and minimum friction. These bearings are perfect for long life in water-based fluids and water, and possess excellent low-flow characteristics. The whole rotor assembly (hubs, rotor, rotor strut, bearings) can be taken out from the meter as a single unit without removing the meter from the pipe.

  • Standard meter bodies are flanged
  • High-accuracy machined turbine internals removable with meter in line
