Pulse Sensors for Data Logging

Pacific Sensor Technologies has introduced its pulse data logger, Pulse101A. The device can linearise and scale transducers.

pulse data logger

The MadgeTech Pulse101A identifies pulse inputs and can locate closures from external sources like transducers and pulse initiators. It interfaces with contact closures through flow and power meters, anemometers and other dry contact closures. It has engineering units that could be programmed.

The device can gather 10,000 pulses a second and store a maximum of 500,000 notations in its non-volatile memory. It can be turned off when not in use and turned on when data needs to be collected at the touch of a button, without requiring data download each time, thus saving overall costs and time. The battery in the data logger can last for 10 years, and is deployed with the MadgeTech software. This displays statistical data based on the information stored. Additional analysis can be procured by transferring data to an MS Excel spread sheet.
