SPL-200 and FVL-200: Battery-Powered Laser Level Sensors for Measuring Silos

Power level and mount sensors on silos without the expense or complexity of wiring. This single point laser quickly installs via a 1.5 ” NPT connection in remote locations, or on silos where inventory monitoring has not been viable.

The FVL-200 measures livestock feed in silos up to 35 feet tall. The SPL-200 can measure solids in silos that are up to 98 feet tall in low or no-dust environments and is powered by a replaceable Lithium battery. Both models have a battery life of three to five years and take interval readings from once per hour to once a day.

An integrated wireless LoRa long range transceiver is used by the laser to convey data to a LoRa modem. Data measurements from the SPL-200 are transmitted to the Binventory software or BinView web application for easy access from a tablet, phone, or PC. Data from the FVL-200 is exclusively utilized with the FeedView application.
