Squire Tech Solutions’ Satellite Mobile Responder Services Restore Communication to Hurricane Isaac-Affected Regions

Squire Tech Solutions, a provider of tactical satellite services and developer of mobile response equipment, has been serving hundreds of satellite Mobile Responder units in post hurricane response to the Mississippi-, Louisiana-, Arkansas-based first responder teams and also in other affected areas.

CBS News states that the slow-moving storm created over 20” of rain in three days, causing the impacted region to submerge completely followed by flash floods and electrical failure. The storm caused power outage to over 700,000 individuals.

The first responder teams in the impacted areas totally depend on Mobile Responder units for relaying broadband connectivity to the mobile command vehicles as post hurricane response cause disruption in land lines, cell phone towers, power and other utilities. The Mobile Responder package has been complemented with a reliable power cleaning system, through which the unit can operate in any situation and environment where crude power generation is accessible. The unit is capable of serving up to 20 phone lines, WiFi, and essential connectivity over the satellite link to any part of the world.

Squire Tech Solutions includes 20 pCom tactical communication trailer customers who will be employed to serve 911 emergency offices, family and child registration, providing communications to the first response teams across that region. Being a self-efficient power generator, lighting and communications design, the pCom is capable of operating internal networks, delivering high-speed internet connection, radio, phone, video or broadcast for efficiently performing critical natural disaster recovery efforts.
