Rapiscan Metor 6WP Walk Through Metal Detector Passes NCS4 Testing

Rapiscan Systems, Inc., a leading global supplier of security inspection systems, today announced that the company’s Metor 6WP walk through metal detector has passed the rigors of lab-testing by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Following an extensive evaluation in the National Sports Security Laboratory at the University of Southern Mississippi, NCS4 has confirmed that the Metor 6WP performed at or above the levels considered by evaluators to fully meet their requirements. NCS4 has concluded that the Metor 6WP meets the operational and technological needs of operations and security personnel at sports venues.

The Metor 6WP is a state-of-the-art metal detector that combines advanced metal detection technology with a practical, waterproof design. Engineered for both permanent and temporary installations, the Metor 6WP can be assembled and disassembled within five minutes with no tools required, making the system an excellent choice for event security screening.
