At a small island north of Guam in the Pacific Ocean there is a new early warning system for corals. The system is based on sensors that monitor the neighboring environment of the corals for air and sea temperature, wind speed, barometric pressure and light levels.

Lockheed Martin Bags $50M for Cobra Helicopter Sensor

Lockheed Martin Corporation has bagged a marine contract for U.S.$49.9 million. The deal will see the company deliver a target sight system for the Marine Corps’ Cobra attack helicopter. The contract was awarded to Lockheed Martin by the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
