2010 METEOREX to Exhibit Gill Instruments’ Wind Sensor Products

Gill Instruments Ltd, an innovator in ultrasonic wind measurement machinery, will put on display their wide-spread range of products, at the 2010 METEOREX Exhibition in Helsinki, Finland to be conducted between 31st August and 2nd September.

The centre of attraction would be the MetPak II combined weather station along with the well-liked WindSonic wind sensor, WindMaster Pro and Extreme Weather WindObserver ultrasonic anemometers. It would also demonstrate the capabilities of the inexpensive WindSonic Sensor.

Gill Instruments MetView

The MetPakII is a solid and portable multisensor device, which is used in measuring a broad range of weather factors. The ultrasonic technology measures direction and wind speed very similar to the WindSonic. Industry standard probes built inside a radiation shield, which has a natural air intake, measures humidity and temperature, while barometric pressure is measured in the interior of a vented framework. A serial data system is offered to the interface with data loggers. During the exhibition, technical sales engineers from Gill Instruments would be present, to talk about the new advancements in depth.

The WindSonic anemometer is now the yardstick for all inexpensive ultrasonic wind measurement devices. A future addition to the product line-up may include advanced versions of the WindSonic, to be put into use for even more applications.
