Digital Intraoral Sensor Exploits CMOS Technology

Vatech America., a producer of dental imaging digital instruments, has declared the launch of intraoral EZSensor which can operate digitally and ranges in various 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 sizes for marketing in the United States. The EzSensor is the latest version of the intraoral digital sensor series.

The curbed edges generate an ergonomic configuration which enhances the comfort level of the patients and facilitates the positioning easily. The shock captive configuration and the internal stringent aluminum covering of the intraoral sensor ensure resistance to extreme operating conditions.

The supportive cable connection provides durability for actual digital imaging increasing the sensitivity to retain cable integrity at extreme and continuous bending.

The hybrid lesser noise CMOS technology with data acquisition in a16-bit range furnishes image quality with low- radiation. The unique sensor also facilitates implant surgery, endodontic treatment and preventative patient care.

The EZSensor imparts operational efficiency by lowering the diagnostic image’s processing time eliminating dark room requirement and a film developer.

The EzDent 4.0 software for viewing the image can be installed without any additional expenditure. The software is user-friendly and is equipped with flexible diagnostic tools that operates digitally and includes teeth whitening simulations, virtual implant and many other operations.

The patient data and different diagnostic images are stored digitally and maintained electronically which furnishes a paperless functioning environment. The integrated TWAIN driver permits the EZSensor to incorporate various imaging softwares.

The sensor can be installed on a Windows-oriented PC easily and it is consistent with most of the improved sensor holders that show digital displays. The EZSensor can be obtained from recognized dealers.
