2016 International CES: Olea Sensor Networks to Demonstrate Advanced Sensors and Cloud-Based Sensor Analytics Solutions

Olea Sensor Networks announced today the upcoming demos of its suite of new, advanced sensors and cloud-based sensor analytics solutions at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, in January, 2016.

Olea will be demonstrating recent advances of their OS-3000 series technology including the OS-3005 and OS-3008 for the Connected Car (ADAS) and Connected Care markets respectively. Additionally, they are offering demonstrations by appointment of their OleaVisionTM technology for Life Presence Detection with applications in the Automotive, Industrial Equipment and Security Systems Industries.

"Olea has been working with market leaders in the automobile and industrial equipment industries to bring our vital sign detection products to market," said Frank Morese, CEO of Olea Sensor Networks, "and we are very excited about the prospect of introducing these next generation developments to a new audience. Those interested in biometric capabilities, whatever the industry, will find our HeartSignatureTM software analytics advances of particular interest."

Olea's demos during 2016 CES will include:

  • The OS-3005, a seat belt vital sign monitor for automotive safety applications, both embedded and aftermarket has the ability to wirelessly detect vital signs continuously and in real-time, without contact. OleaSense™ intelligent software analytics processes this data, sent via Bluetooth to the cloud. Olea HeartSignature™ analytics takes this one step further, by biometrically identifying each connected passenger for both identification and infotainment purposes.
  • The OS-3008 with OleaSense™, a wireless, contactless device that facilitates the access people have to real-time information in monitoring their overall well-being whether they be the elderly, the chronically ill or simply health-conscious individuals. It can be worn in a shirt pocket, in an external device holder or embedded in chairs and beds. Like the OS-3005, Olea HeartSignature allows for biometric identification using these vital signs and potentially provides an additional layer of HIPPA security when being used by healthcare professionals.
  • OleaVisionTM Life Presence detection technology detects one or more life presences, human or animal, stationary or in motion. For the Automotive market it is an in-cabin device for the monitoring of life signs within vehicles and can send an alarm via mobile should a child or pet be accidentally left behind. Modified for Industrial Equipment applications, it has a 5 meter range and can protect against collisions in warehouse and industrial environments with features of being able to "see" through most walls and around corners. In the home or office environment, it can be adapted for security and environmental controls based upon occupancy.
  • Private demos will take place in a meeting room convenient to the Las Vegas strip from January 5th - 9th, 2016. To schedule an appointment, please contact Olea directly.

Olea's OS-3005 and OS-3008 are currently available in limited supply for non-clinical research and development use, including field trials and testing.
