Telit, a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced that its LTE module LE910-SV1 has received Verizon‘s certification for operation on the America’s largest, most reliable 4G LTE network.
Verizon was the first carrier to enable CAT-1 operation, having launched the technology across its award-winning LTE network in 2015.
The LE910-SV1 is a single-mode LTE CAT-1 IoT module supporting LTE bands 2, 4 and 13 and is based on the Intel® XMM™ 7120 LTE modem. It is a member of Telit’s best-selling xE910 family and can be applied as a drop-in replacement in existing devices based on the family’s 2G and 3G models. Supporting peak data rates of 5Mbps upload and 10Mbps download, the certified module is ideal for developers and integrators looking to migrate existing North American 2G or 3G IoT devices to LTE, or build new IoT solutions requiring lower LTE speeds, while leveraging cost savings associated with CAT-1.

The LE910-SV1 joins our LE866-SV1 single-mode CAT-1 IoT module lineup. The LE910-SV1 is a member of the xE910 form factor family, which features a common uniform 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.2mm LGA package, providing long-life with cost-optimized operation for the integrated solution.
