Meggitt Sensing Systems Launches Model 731A Seismic Accelerometers for Monitoring Low Frequency Vibrations

Meggitt Sensing Systems has released a highly-flexible seismic industrial accelerometer known as the Wilcoxon Research Model 731A for monitoring the low-level as well as the seismic and low range vibrations occurring on the objects and structures.

Model 731A Seismic Accelerometer

The Wilcoxon Research Model 731A presents a noise operation in the range of 0.5 ìg rms and sensitivity in the order of 10 V/g, exploiting the extreme noise-free electronics for uninterrupted signals at the sub ìg ranges.  The sensor is fabricated in such a way as to exhibit the functionality over a wide temperature range in the order of -10°C to +65°C or +14°F to +149°F and encompasses a low-pass in-built filter to reject high frequency vibrations thus providing high-quality performance and security. These features enable the unique Model 731A to measure even the ultra-low frequency vibrations. The reverse cabling security and the electrostatic discharge (ESD) ensures the reliability of the product.

The specific Model 731A is provided with installable stud and level three measurement information. The flexible functionality and low frequency calibration potentiality of the model permits its deployment in precise industrial manufacturing conditions, photolithography applications and in floor isolation testing purposes.
