New Sensor Cans from SimpleHuman to Replace Foot Pedal Cans

SimpleHuman has launched an innovative Sensor Can featuring a motion sensor that helps in opening the lid of the trash can by simply waving the hands.

This intelligent Sensor Can offers three operative modes such as the Ready mode, the Task mode and the Stay-open mode. The can remains in the Ready mode all the time and opens the lid only when any object passes straightaway across its integral motion sensing unit and once stimulated, the can will change its operation automatically into a Task mode thus widening its sensing area and keeping it open till the task has been completed. If the task prolonged for more than three seconds, the can will directly shift its functionality into a Stay-Open mode, which helps in retaining the can lid open for another 30 seconds.

The company claims the operation of this device is rugged and is not affected by vigorous continuous mechanisms. Its reliability and durability is ensured by six C-graded batteries and the nylon discs integrated underneath the can facilitates its easy sliding.
