Flexpoint’s Bend Sensor to be Deployed in Paintball Guns

Flexpoint Sensor Systems proclaimed that it has acquired a second contract from a Pacific Northwest fabricator to supply 15,000 sensing devices to be deployed as a counter in paintball guns.

According to Clark Mower, Flexpoint Sensor Systems’ President, the utility of Flexpoint’s Bend Sensor(R) in paintball guns for counting mechanisms indicates the flexibility of the sensing device for use in various products which demands reliable operation in extreme conditions. He added that the resilience property of the sensing device and its potentiality to resist the shocking and offensive motions which occur while using the paint gun is recognized. The company anticipates recurring contracts from their long standing clients for an increased duration and with nearly 12 million paintball players, the market value is significant, he added.
