AuthenTec’s Smart Sensor Integrated in MEDION’s TOUCH X9613

The TOUCH X9613, an all-in-one TV, Blu-ray DVD, PC, and audio system player from MEDION is integrated with the Authentec’s TrueSuite identity management software and the TruePrint smart sensor.

The TruePrint fingerprint sensor that is optimized for peripherals and PCs provides superb ESD protection, sensor durability, and fingerprint imaging capabilities. It is based on AuthenTec’s unique and patented solution known as the ‘TruePrint’ technology. This sensor is able to read under the skin surface where the true fingerprint of a person resides. This subsurface method empowers these sensors to read almost each fingerprint every time and is a key requirement for any fingerprint-based device.

The TrueSuite identity management software solution is customized for consumer netbook and PC users who want one-touch access for their social networks and digital identity. It is also optimized for Windows 7 OS of Microsoft.
