Sensirion Introduces Novel Sensor Series for Precise Applications

Sensirion has released a new version of SHT21 digital humidity and thermal sensors called the SHT25 for highly accurate applications. The SHT25 accurately monitors 0 to100 % relative humidity (RH) and temperature in the order of -40°C to +125°C. This inturn contributes to a precision of 1.8 % RH at 25°C and +/-0.2°C for the temperature range.

For both the parameters, the typical tolerance capacity is limited even at a smaller measuring range. The utmost tolerance is 2% relative humidity or +/-0.3°C over a broad range, as depicted by the adjacent readings. This functionality will offer the SHT25 to perform with high-precision, particularly for thermal calibrations.

The SHT25 is completely validated and ideally matches the other requisites of the SHT21. The SHT25 is reflow-solderable and is equipped with an I2C connection, providing integrity with less energy utility.

This novel series can be accessed on tape and reel. A standard management system and a separate sensor evaluating information are provided with the SHT25.
