Powercast Corporation has recently introduced new versions of its Powerharvester Receivers in the P2000 and P1000 series.
The P2110 Powerharvester receiver is to be used in battery-free devices. It also provides support to regulated, user-configurable output voltages for a maximum of 5.25 V. On the other hand, the P1110 Powerharvester receiver that supports up to 4.2 V user-configurable output voltages and is for battery charging applications.
Both versions incorporate I/O and capabilities for providing data and the received signal strength indication (RSSI) in a power broadcast. In addition, the P2110 receiver incorporates an I/O that helps to interface with microcontrollers to ensure increased intelligence system control.
Harry Ostaffe, Powercast’s Director of Marketing and Business Development, informed that the micro-power harvesting market is growing. Ostaffe revealed that Powercast is ideally placed in the market as a vendor of remote and wireless power technologies for gadgets like wireless sensors.
