MAZeT Launches MMCS6 Multiple Color Sensors

MAZeT has launched the MMCS6 multiple color sensor that is capable of executing color measurements with seven spectral features ranging from 380 to 780nm, based on spectral estimation.

MMCS6 Multiple Color Sensors

This indicates that the color measurement is based on radiometric level and not based on colorimetric.

The primary result is a color spectrum that can be utilized to determine the chromaticity coordinate. The benefits of these calibrations depend on the intensive data density with respect to color measurement.

With the advent of RGB and actual color sensors, the fabricators can deliver semiconductor-oriented sensing devices with XYZ or RGB connection filters for rapid and durable constant color identification and proper color calibration, meeting the CIE/DIN5033 standard. The sensors, when utilized along with the white-light LEDs, provide high precision in the color space.

The detection and evaluation of metameric properties can be eliminated that is not possible with XYZ or RGB sensing devices. The metameric phenomenon in optics denotes numerous spectra that produce the same type of impression on the human eye.

The sensor function is not based on the standard of the light sources. By utilizing the MMCS sensing devices, color variations, which are not responded by the human eye, can be detected easily.
