Agilent’s Power Meter with Sensor for Quality Power Measurements

Agilent Technologies has recently launched the Agilent V3500A Handheld RF Power Meter with integrated power sensors and built-in display.

The V3500A is Agilent’s first handheld palm-sized power meter. This meter is an affordable and perfect solution for carrying out power measurements for R&D labs, as well as maintenance and installation measurements.

The meter features a broad dynamic 63 to +20 dBm range, a wide10 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range, and up to ±0.21 dB accuracy. This meter includes requisite average power measurement features to ensure accurate measurements and good repeatability. Besides simplifying the field activities, the meter offers typical power measurements at reduced start-up costs.

Agilent Basic Instruments Division’s General Manager and Vice President, Ee Huei Sin, informed that many industries have projected additional requirements for power measurement systems.  In such a situation, expanding the Agilent power sensor and power meter range provides more convenience to users in a vast range of industrial, electrical, and electronic applications.
