HawksHead Introduces T-Valves for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems with External Sensors

HawksHead has launched innovative, patent pending, T-Valve for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) with external sensing devices.

Tire Pressure Monitoring sensors

The T-Valves can be used to substitute current metal and rubber valve stems with 0.625 or 0.453 size ranges in RV and automotive operations that support up to 125 psi pressures.

The external TPMS wheel sensing unit can be installed easily in a semi-permanent application and air can be introduced or removed without removing the sensor. This functionality proves useful in inaccessible areas and also improves the durability of the sensor seals.

A sensor locking system can also be integrated in the T-Valve for enhanced security and provides access to  tire inflation without replacing the sensor or lock. This system also lends an elegant look to the wheel with its customized valve caps and chrome finish appearance.
