HD CMOS Pro Image Sensor for Canon Camcorders

The Vixia HF M41, M40, and M400 camcorder series from Canon has been recently equipped with a HD CMOS Pro Image Sensor.

Camera

The top-end M41 features an EVF, and employs the identical 10x zoom lens as that of the previous models.

But it has retained its previous poorly configured three inch touch-screen user interface, with a low resolution, at 230,000 dots.

The series comprises Canon's new characteristics such as guided shooting (Story Creator), effects (Cinema-Look Filters), and graphic overlays (Touch Decoration). Dual SDXC slots and telemacro is also provided in these new versions for close-up shooting functionality.
